Mr.Wiest, a specialist in emergency entertainment- flipped his Rolodex and called one of his performers.
Time flies in the emergency entertainment business. Mr.Wiest is a pianist, band leader,booking agent for hundreds of acts,but his most prized talent this time of year is his ability to produce an entertainer in a pinch. If someone got Broadway Danny Rose organized, moved him to the suburbs and speeded him up to fast-forward that would be Stan Wiest.
Mr.Wiest handles emergency entertainment for several Fortune 500 companies, but will not identify them publicly. “They’re the kind of places thaqt don’t like to admit they have emergencies” he said. (exerpt from lengthy New York Times article).
